Sleeve contribution and attribution study

A reconstruction of which sleeves, sectors, or currency effects carried or dragged the period, written so a non-specialist trustee can follow the arithmetic.

Who it is for

Committees that have been shown a single total-return line and now want to know which part of the mandate did the work.

What you receive

Contribution tables, a short method appendix, and a narrative that refuses to over-claim when grouping is coarse.

Scope

One period; grouping must be supplied (your sleeve map or a sector map we agree in writing).

Included

  • Contribution by agreed group
  • Interaction notes where weights changed mid-period
  • Method appendix

Not included

  • Brinson-Fachler restatements unless weights and benchmark constituents are both complete

Who prepares it

Priya Shah, reviewed by Helena Croft.

How the work runs

  1. Confirm grouping
  2. Rebuild weights
  3. Tables
  4. Narrative

Timing

Eight working days for a clean sleeve map; longer if we must reconstruct weights from trades.

Where the work is done

PDF pack; optional in-person table walkthrough.

What to send

Start and end weights, or transactions sufficient to rebuild them, plus the grouping you present to trustees.

Limits we will not paper over

If trades are missing we will not force a full attribution identity; we will stop at contribution.

Fees

From £1,850 per study.

Send the sleeve map you already use in minutes.
